LACC CERTIFICATES 70 STUDENTS AS ANTI-CORRUPTION AMBASSADORS

Monday, June 9, 2017: The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commissioners (LACC) has certificated seventy students as Anti-Corruption Ambassadors. The studens are from the New Hope Academy in Paynesville and Heart of Grace School in Johnsonville respectively.

The Education System

Because of the war, human resources development was neglected while the literacy rate fell sharply below 32%, since there was no schooling in most parts of the country. The Liberian education system was destroyed during the 14-year civil conflict.

No Change For Liberia

Of the 53 nations in Africa the country that the United States has the closest ties with may have to be Liberia.
